Lawsuit Filed.

We Did It!

With great pride and excitement, I’m now able to announce that on Tuesday, December 13, we filed a complaint against Maine Emergency Medical Services (EMS) with the Kennebec County Superior Court on behalf of terminated First Responders across Maine!

We began telling you about this three months ago, and never intended for it to take quite this long. But that’s what happens when an agency ignores our FOIA requests.

Support This

We’re deeply grateful to those of you who’ve supported our efforts. This latest suit is a direct result of that support.

With that said, this is just the first step. We have a long road ahead of us. If you’re not a monthly supporter, please consider doing so today.

Do you have any awesome recipes? If so, we’d love for you to share them with us!

We’re working on a fun fundraiser for the New Year, and we’d love to have copies of all of your favorite recipes. Especially gluten free, egg free, dairy free, and other specialty recipes.

We’re Growing!

Community Support Director

We’re incredibly proud to announce the newest addition to the Health Choice Maine leadership team, Brogan Teel!

Brogan has been with us from the beginning. Facing her own serious fight for medical freedom, she found us very early on, and she’s been an amazing source of support and joy ever since. In August, she represented HCM at the Young Americans for Liberty conference in Florida. For the last several months she’s shown impressive leadership skills as she ran to represent District 23 in the Maine Senate. Her compassion, courage, grace, and integrity will be an invaluable asset as we move forward.

Please join us in welcoming Brogan Teel to our leadership team! Brogan will be working diligently to network and build relationships throughout the state as she endeavors to amplify our work and keep the conversation at the forefront. You can email Brogan at Brogan@HealthChoiceMaine.org.

Volunteer Coordinator

We are also excited to announce that we’ve appointed a Volunteer Coordinator!

Volunteers Needed

We still need volunteers for …

  • Activism. Real activism. Handing out cards and pamphlets, carrying signs, and handling overpass banners.
  • A community support assistant to work with Brogan in networking and fundraising.
  • Researchers to help compile various data sets and info sheets for our website.
